A Roofing Company That Shows Its Work

Roofing St Augustine is built around a simple idea. Homeowners shouldn't have to take a roofer's word for it. Most people never see their own roof up close, and that leaves room for overselling. So we bring the roof down to you, in pictures, and talk it through at your kitchen table.

Our days are spent on shingle and metal roofs that face long hot summers, afternoon thunderstorms and salty breezes. We fix what can be fixed, replace what can't, and tell you which is which. Our About page has more on who we are and what a job with us looks like.

Roofing Services We Offer

A water spot over the hallway, shingle tabs on the lawn after a windy night, or a roof that's reaching the end of its run. Those are the usual reasons people reach out to us. We cover roof repair, roof inspections, storm damage repair, roof replacement, metal roofing and gutters. Every visit opens with a careful look and a set of pictures, and we explain them before any number comes up.

Where We Work

We serve homeowners across St. Augustine and the surrounding communities, including St. Augustine Beach, Butler Beach, St. Augustine South and St. Augustine Shores. We also work in World Golf Village and Nocatee. Homes near the water see more salt exposure, so we check fasteners and flashing for corrosion on every visit there.

How a Roofing Job Runs With Us

From the first conversation to the last sweep of the yard, here's what to expect.

  1. 1

A phone call to set a visit

Describe what you're seeing, and we'll book a technician visit on a day that suits you.

  2. 2

    A close look up top

We check the roof surface, flashing, vents, gutters and, where we can reach it, the attic. Anything worth your attention gets captured on camera.

  3. 3

    Your estimate, explained

We go over the pictures and the price line by line. You can ask anything and take as long as you need.

  4. 4

    The work, recorded

We protect your yard, pull the permit when one is needed and capture key stages, including the bare deck and new underlayment.

  5. 5

    Final walk-through

We clean up, check the finished roof and share the final images so you have a record of what was done to your home.

What Shapes the Cost of Your Roof

Every roof is priced on its own, and the biggest variables usually aren't visible from the ground. These are the things that move the number. We point out each one on your estimate so nothing catches you off guard later.

Your free estimate comes after we've looked at the roof, and it breaks the work into clear lines with pictures to back each one. Financing is available if you'd like to spread out the cost.

Size and pitch
A bigger roof takes more shingles or panels and more hours to install. A steep roof also calls for harnesses and roof jacks, which slows the pace.
Material you choose
Architectural shingles, standing seam metal and other options differ in cost, lifespan and how they handle salt air and strong sun.
What's under the old roof
Soft or rotted decking can only be judged once the old layers are removed. We show you any bad sheets and replace only what needs it.
Old layers to strip
Each extra layer of old shingles adds tear-off time and dumpster weight, so a single-layer roof usually costs less to clear.
Flashing, vents and details
Chimneys, skylights, valleys and wall joints all need new flashing done right. More of them means more careful hours.
Permits and inspections
Florida reroofs need a permit and inspection, and we handle that paperwork as part of the job.

Why Homeowners Call Us

A roof is hard to judge from the driveway. We work so you can see what we see.

You see the problem yourself
Lifted shingles, cracked pipe boots, rusted flashing or soft decking all get photographed. We sit down with you and go through the images, so the estimate makes sense before you agree to anything.
A record during the job, too
Once the old roofing comes off, we capture the bare deck and any rot we uncover. You'll see what was replaced and why, along with the new underlayment and flashing before they're covered up.
An honest fix-or-replace call
When a repair will give you good years, that's what we recommend. When the roof has run its course, we point to the evidence that told us so, and the decision stays with you.
Storm claims without the confusion
On a storm claim, we deal with your insurance adjuster directly and hand over pictures and notes that show the damage plainly. The adjuster still decides what's covered. We tell you what's happening at each stage so you're never guessing.
Your yard looked after
Before the old roof comes off, tarps go over garden beds and boards go down where debris could land. Each evening the crew hauls off scraps and drags a nail magnet across the grass and driveway.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Your estimate is free and carries no obligation. We inspect the roof, take pictures and walk you through what we found. If you decide not to move forward, that's fine.

How do I know if I need a repair or a new roof?

Start with where the trouble sits. A few torn shingles or one failed pipe boot in an otherwise sound roof is usually a repair. Brittle shingles from ridge to eave, leaks that keep coming back or decking that flexes underfoot point toward roof replacement. Either way, we show you what led us to our answer.

Will you help with my insurance claim after a storm?

Yes. Post-storm inspections are free, and when you file a storm damage claim, we deal with your insurance adjuster directly. The photos we take show the adjuster exactly where the damage is. Coverage is your insurer's call, but we'll explain how the process goes and can be on site when the adjuster visits if you'd like.

Do you offer a warranty on new roofs?

Yes. We offer a no-leak guarantee on all new roof installations. We'll go over what it covers when we review your estimate.

Can I pay for my roof over time?

Financing is available. Ask about it on the call or during your estimate, and we'll go over the options with you.

Is metal roofing a good choice here?

Metal roofing holds up well to heavy rain, high wind and strong sun, and it lasts a long time. It costs more up front than shingles. We'll compare both on your roof so you can weigh the price against the years you plan to stay.

How disruptive is a roof replacement?

Tear-off is loud, and you'll have a truck and trailer near the driveway while the work runs. The crew stays outside, so you can go about your day indoors. We share the schedule before we start and tidy up before leaving each evening.

Find Out What Your Roof Needs

We'll take a close look, show you what we find and give you a clear price. Then the choice is yours.
